Mcdonalds Tweens
Reaction to the boy:
I understand you. You don’t want to be called mama’s boy or papa’s boy.
BUT Why do you have to be so cruel to your parents? It’s a good thing that your parents love you unconditionally.
Reaction to the parents:
If you were my mother, she would drag me back to the car holding my hair only. If I were you, that child would have received an hour sermon from me. Whatever, parenting has different strokes.

The boy, I believe, is not being cruel to his parents, it's just a "teenager thing." Everyone will come to an age where they feel like they wanted to be separated from their parents' shadows. Especially when they start to have crushes and all.
This, too, will pass :)
